Common Issues Addressed in Therapy
Therapy may include diagnostic assessment, is grounded in evidence-based modalities, and may qualify for out-of-network insurance reimbursement depending on your plan.
If you are seeking a holistic psychotherapist, mind-body therapist, or attachment-focused therapist in CA, CT, NJ, or NY, therapy may be the best fit.
Fees & Insurance
Fees, Insurance and Superbills
I work out-of-network, which means I don't bill insurance plans directly. Many plans with out-of-network benefits reimburse part of each therapy session, and I'm happy to help you find out what yours covers.
If your plan has out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be reimbursed for part of each therapy session.
A superbill is a detailed receipt with the information your insurer needs. I provide them monthly so you can submit them for possible reimbursement.
Not sure what your plan covers? I can help you figure out which questions to ask your insurer before we start.
Fees are discussed on your free consultation call, or by email if you prefer. Coaching is non-clinical and isn't eligible for insurance reimbursement. More on fees and insurance
Mind & Body Together
Holistic Mind-Body Approach (Integrative, Attachment-Based)
My work is grounded in a whole-body perspective.
In addition to traditional psychotherapy training, I have additional education in integrative nutrition, gut-brain health, and the connection between physical symptoms and emotional experiences. I support clients in exploring how:
- Gut health influences mood, anxiety, and emotional regulation
- Stress affects digestion, inflammation, and sleep
- Sugar, caffeine, and alcohol can feed anxiety
- Trauma impacts physical symptoms and chronic tension
- Lifestyle patterns shape emotional well-being
- Mind-body imbalances contribute to burnout and overwhelm
This mind-body integrative approach is ideal for clients seeking a therapist who understands the full connection between emotional health and physical wellness.
Relationships
Healthy Communication & Connection
Healthy communication is essential for building meaningful, secure relationships. The way we express needs, set boundaries, and respond during conflict directly affects our ability to feel close, understood, and supported by others. When communication patterns are shaped by past wounds, attachment injuries, or nervous system overwhelm, it can lead to misunderstandings, disconnection, or repeated conflict.
In therapy and coaching sessions, we focus on strengthening communication by exploring attachment styles, nervous system responses, and the beliefs that influence how you speak and listen. Using relational tools, somatic awareness, and polyvagal regulation, we work on clearer expression, emotional honesty, and conflict repair.
As communication improves, connection deepens. You're better able to express yourself, understand others, reduce reactivity, and build more secure, fulfilling relationships.
The Approach
Modalities & Therapeutic Approach
My approach is eclectic, integrative, and deeply personalized. I draw from a broad range of evidence-based, holistic, and relational modalities to support individuals and couples in meaningful, lasting change. Each session is tailored to your nervous system, your story, and your goals, so the work feels grounded, safe, and effective. There is a big emphasis on learning healthy communication tools in order to grow in relationships. I offer support and care and provide practical tools.
